Ceramic materials are industrial materials that contain natural components, such as sand, feldspar, clay and natural pigments. Ceramic countertops are especially scratchproof, heat-resistant and do not absorb liquids. These thin materials are highly regarded among interior designers and are a popular choice for modern kitchens.
Daily cleaning
We recommend the use of a damp (microfiber) cloth, warm water and, if required, a pH neutral detergent, a slightly alkaline (pH 8-10) or a slightly acidic (pH 4-6) detergent for daily cleaning.
We do not recommend the use of abrasive or very acidic or bleach-containing detergents.
Preventing and removing stains
Protect the worktop against stains. Keep chemicals and corrosives away from the worktop.
We recommend that stains are removed immediately with kitchen paper, water and washing liquid.
Preventing heat damage and scratches
Ceramic worktops are heat resistant. Hot cookware does not change the colour of the worktop or damage the surface.
Ceramic worktops are highly scratch-proof. Prevent heavy objects from falling onto the worktop or hitting the worktop.
Long-term maintenance
Ceramic worktops do not need to be treated with an impregnating agent since these worktops do not absorb liquids.
